City Plow at the Ice Rink

Good morning snow!  Well folks if you are not here in Breckenridge let me tell you, we received 9.3 inches of snow yesterday on the first of May!  I hope you haven't put away your skis yet, what a great day of skiing it will be at A Basin and Loveland, 2 ski resorts that are still open.  Remember if you are a back country skier or boarder Avalanche danger will be high, check out the CAIC for the most up to date information on the back country.  Enjoy the snow and don't you worry we will see May Flowers soon enough!

Mud Season is Here

Good morning!  What a beautiful weekend it was here in Breckenridge, what did you do to enjoy your time?  What do you like to do in "mud" season?  If I can't get away I like to enjoy all the deals in town.  Pick up the Breckenridge Dining Passport to make sure you are getting the best deals at local restaurants! April 23rd...Still Snowing

Good morning!  The snow is still coming down in Breckenridge and we received about a foot of snow over night.   Unfortunately Breck is closed for the season, but you can still hit up Arapahoe Basin (ABasin) for some freshies!  If you choose to do back country please be careful, make sure you read the CAIC reports before you head out and make sure that you have all the proper equipment.  Last Saturday's Avalanche at Loveland Pass was very tragic and unfortunate.

I know everybody is ready for biking season but we must remember that all this snow is good for the drought that we have been in for some time now.  It is also important for the rivers and rafting season.
